NASCAR Youth Series Prepares for First Race at Talladega SuperSpeedway


The NASCAR Youth Series presented by COOKOUT is getting ready for the season opener at Talladega SuperSpeedway, which will be the first time EVER to take quarter midgets to the SuperSpeedway. Racers will get to race in the Fanzone of the iconic NASCAR SuperSpeedway, as well as get to be involved with NASCAR pre race and NASCAR activities. The race will take place Thursday April 20, 2023 through Sunday April 23, 2023. Registration will open on March 20, 2023 at 12 PM EST, with Priority Parking opening on March 27, 2023 at 12 PM EST.

NASCAR Youth Series is a developmental racing series that provides young drivers with an opportunity to compete in quarter midget races. The series is designed to develop the skills of aspiring racers and prepare them for higher-level competitions. In an effort to continue to grow the motorsports community and offer unique opportunities to kids and families, the United States Auto Club (USAC) and NASCAR have teamed up to form the NASCAR Youth Series.


Talladega Superspeedway is a NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) track located in Talladega, Alabama, United States. It is one of the most iconic tracks in NASCAR and is known for its high-banked turns and long straightaways, which allow drivers to reach speeds of over 200 mph.The track was opened in 1969 and is 2.66 miles long, which makes it one of the longest tracks on the NASCAR circuit. It has a seating capacity of over 80,000 and is known for its party-like atmosphere and enthusiastic fans.Talladega Superspeedway hosts two NASCAR Cup Series races each year: the GEICO 500 in the spring and the YellaWood 500 in the fall. It also hosts races for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series.
